# How Do I Create An Account?

Your Hostology account will be created for you by your Host who will send you an email inviting you to set a password. Use the link in the email to take you to the password setting page.

1. **Username**:  Your username is the email address that your Host has used, in the email you received.

2. **Password**:

The password requirements are:

-   A digit is required
-   A length of at least 8 characters is required
-   A special character is required
-   An uppercase letter is required
-   A lowercase letter is required

3\. Enter your password, then enter it again to confirm it and click "**Set password**":

3\. Click "Back to login page"

4\. Now login using your email, as described above, and the password you have just created.
